What you can sell

CheckoutFirst is the makers exchange for scent, skin, and home. List finished goods, ingredients, packaging, equipment, digital formulas, and specialist services. Buyers here are makers and indie-goods shoppers, so your listings reach the right audience from the start.

  • Finished goods: Perfume, candles, soap, skincare, sample sets, and small-batch releases
  • Ingredients and materials: Fragrance oils, naturals, aroma chemicals, waxes, butters, and actives
  • Packaging and equipment: Bottles, jars, tins, pumps, labels, molds, and bench tools
  • Destash and overstock: The leftover supplies from a project that ended. Mark a listing as destash and it shows up in destash browsing
  • Digital products: Formula files, recipes, templates, and educational worksheets
  • Services: Custom formulation, commissions, consultations, and bespoke work

How it works

Getting listed takes a few minutes. There are no monthly fees, no approval queues for standard listings, and no minimums.

  1. Create your account. Sign up with an email address. No credit card is required to get started.
  2. Build your listing. Add photos, a description, price, and shipping options. Digital products are delivered to buyers automatically after purchase.
  3. Share or get discovered. Send your listing link directly to buyers or let the marketplace surface your work to shoppers browsing by category.
  4. Get paid. Stripe processes the payment. CheckoutFirst releases payouts from your connected Stripe balance once your available balance reaches the current payout threshold, or after the dormant-account hold window is reached.

Fee structure

Fees are percentage-based with a flat payment processing charge. There are no listing fees, no subscriptions, and no setup costs.

A direct sale is when a buyer arrives through a link you shared. A marketplace sale is when a buyer finds your listing through browsing or search on CheckoutFirst. The attribution is tracked automatically.

Seller tools included

Every account includes free access to the formula workspace. Use the IFRA Category 4 compliance checker, dilution calculator, and pricing estimator while you build your product line. No separate subscription is required.

The formula tools are available to all users. They are not gated behind a seller plan or paid tier.

Getting started

Create a free account and connect your Stripe account to activate payouts. Once connected, you can publish listings immediately and Stripe starts collecting cleared funds in your connected balance until the payout policy releases them.
